Of the nine hotels I stayed in Arya Niwas was the best for relaxation. I paid 1300rs per night for a standard AC room. It was a bit tight but doable. It had a large western style bathroom with shower. The garden was the perfect spot to enjoy meals and snacks. The tour office took care of all my needs arranging for a car and ... read more »

Value for money!

Stayed here in late september 2009. This is by FAR the hotel we stayed in during our trip which offered the best value for money. We payed 1000 rs per night I think, and it included a large airconditioned bright room, a safe, a brand new lcd tv, nets around the windows, large bathroom and towels. The hotel also had a pretty ... read more »
I loved it!

I loved my stay at Arya Niwas and it surprises me that it is a two star hotel. The first thing that struck me was the staff are always smiling and happy to help. The whole place is spotless and furnished with beautiful artwork. I loved the bowls of water with floating petals and flower outside every room. The room was perfect- ... read more »

Excerpt from my blog http://loraltravel.blogspot.com/2008/08/two-indian-hotels-to-sleep-perchance.html The next hotel I stayed at was the Arya Niwas in Jaipur. It is only a two-star, but the attitude to the customer was so dramatically different it was like stepping into a different world. I had booked via the web. No deposit ... read more »

Although we did not find it cheap when we arrived there, retrospectively good value for money, especially seeing the cleanliness of the place and the hot shower. Staff is professional and absolutely hassle-free but certainly very impersonal. The facilities are excellent, with a fully equipped travel desk, internet/ call center, ... read more »

Good location, beautiful setting, room size adequate, clean everything, great cafeteria, easy to contact with regards to reservation. The air-conditioner worked, the two different rooms we stayed in were quiet. We also found the rates for aiport/train station drop off weren't that much more expensive for the hassle it saved ... read more »

This was our first stop in Jaipur and we weren't sure what to expect in our budget... The rooms were small but squeaky clean. The bathrooms had running hot water. It was centrally located and had internet facilities, along with a store and a cafe that served pretty decent food. The staff were very professional and the hotel ... read more »
[B]Great place

Great place, worth the price The staff is very professional. There are no hidden charges, everything is spelled out. This place is not run like most other Indian hotels, which is a welcome relief. Likes: * Hot water worked, as did everything else * Clean, with nice crisp sheets * No fears of being cheated (professional ... read more »

Maybe I was lucky but I had a very decent sized single room - I think I paid a bit more than the lowest rate though. It had a TV as well. It really is a great hotel and I'd definitely recommend it. The restaurant is excellent and the outside verandah and garden is a great place to sit around doing not very much. ... read more »

Tucked away in a relatively quiey backstreet near the Centre. Very clean and well run about 20 mins. from the airport but close to train and bus stations. Self service resteraunt offers very good food at low, low prices. If there are drawbacks the rooms may be a little small for some. As I say the rooms are a little small ... read more »
