We paid 1050rs/night for a double. It was a comfortable room, which had a tv that did not work. The attached bathroom was rather dirty and had hair left over from the last guests clogging all the drains. The staff here were very friendly, and the rooftop view of the taj is amazing! I stayed in September 2009.Service was amazing, really friendly , genuine people.
The owner has another hotel in Jaipur, wish I'd stayed there.
I was recuperating from being robbed and bashed, so i stayed about a week.
Room service was a real plus, and they had nice tasty food.

We ended up booking at this hotel because our first choice had sold out. This hotel is in the expensive side, but provides a lot in return as well. The hotel is spread out over a large footprint, and the common areas are very spacious and well maintained. The lawns and swimming pool area is particularly nice.
