During my recent visit(Sept 2009) to Jaisalmer I stayed at Shahi Palace for 3 days and enjoyed every bit of it. On Mr Dev's recommendation I also undertook a Camel Safari to a "non-touristic" location away from crowd and enjoyed it thoroughly. I would not recommend staying here. I went by all the reviews on this site before making my overseas reservations. Read thru all the fine print and understood that there was no cancellation policy ... not in writing and not verbally.
